Rewards Model

Teneo’s reward system is designed to incentivize both early adopters and long-term participants, with 28% of the overall $TENEO token supply dedicated to community rewards over a 30-years period.

A portion of the 28% allocation is specifically set aside to reward early contributors participating in the pre-TGE phase by collecting Teneo Points. This allocation recognizes and incentivizes their engagement and support as foundational participants in building the Teneo network.

In addition to these rewards, operators can also access additional incentives tied directly to Teneo’s revenue, ensuring greater benefits as the platform grows.

Anchor Rewards: Long Term Rewards for Node Operators

Anchor Rewards are paid to every Community Node operator, ensuring consistent rewards for their participation, regardless of Teneo’s revenue. The largest portion of the community pool is allocated to these rewards, distributed over the next 30 years to provide long-term incentives for node operators. This system guarantees that those who actively participate in the network’s growth are rewarded steadily over time, promoting continuous engagement and contribution.

The reward model is designed to be degressive, offering higher rewards to early adopters while gradually decreasing over time. This approach not only benefits early users but also helps prevent inflationary pressure on the token, supporting its long-term value and stability as the ecosystem grows.

Tiered Reward System

To further incentivize consistent participation, Teneo’s Anchor Rewards will use a Tiered Reward System. Operators will be placed into tiers based on activity levels such as uptime, node reliability, and connection quality. Higher-tier operators will receive a larger portion of the rewards, while less active or lower-quality nodes will receive a reduced share.

Additional Community Node Reward Mechanisms

In addition to Anchor Rewards, community node operators can access rewards directly linked to Teneo’s revenue, offering even greater incentives as the platform grows. This ensures that every participant benefits more as Teneo’s revenue increases.

  • Staking for Revenue Share: Community node operators will be able to stake their $TENEO tokens to receive a portion of Teneo’s revenue from data sales.

  • Token Burn and Buyback Program: A portion of the revenue will be used for token buybacks and burns to increase scarcity and support token value.
